Planning a wedding has never been an easy thing. Despite the unforeseen circumstances that called for an earlier wedding date, Weiyu and Rachel managed to pull it off together perfectly.
The couple attracted us with their sprightliness. They seem to brighten up the place whenever they walk in. This positive energy must have been what brought them together in the first place.
We had a really enjoyable time shooting the bride and groom's preparation process in the morning. Both houses were already filled with laughter and their family members were truly welcoming and companionable.
Time for gatecrash. The groom and his groomsmen put up an impressive dance performance of "Bang Bang Bang" (by Big Bang) as requested by the bridesmaids. And must I say, it was SPLENDID.
Weiyu successfully fetched his bride after the zealous efforts put in by him and his team.
The lunch ceremony was held at Peony Jade, a Chinese restaurant apt for an intimate gathering (they have really good food too). Tea ceremony was held in one of the rooms allocated. Elders were in line to give the couple their utmost blessings.
The sweetest bunch of bridesmaids and groomsmen also set up a photobooth, with handmade props, and a dessert bar to entertain the guests.
Rachel then had a surprise arranged for Weiyu. With the help of the live band, she serenaded Weiyu with "More than Words". The atmosphere was instantly filled with love.
We made our way to Upper Seletar Reservoir after the wedding to do a mini photoshoot with the couple and the wedding entourage. Enjoy the photos below!
"Let all that you do be done in love." We wish Weiyu and Rachel more laughter and more sweet moments in the days ahead! (and of course - 早生贵子!)
