An elegant and sentimental church wedding: Andrei & Vanessa

We first met Andrei and Vanessa at their wedding rehearsal. Kind and loving are the words we would use to describe the couple. Always looking out for other people and always have the loveliest smiles on their faces. You could totally feel their love from the way they look at each other.

The wedding makeup artist is Vanessa's primary school classmate and the wedding videographer has also known Vanessa since young! Even her tutees from a long time ago attended their wedding to give the lovely couple their well-wishes:) This goes to show how well-loved the couple is, when friends from every stages of your life gather to give their warmest blessings.

The bridesmaids entourage were dressed in beautiful dusty pink and grey gowns, looking picture-ready for the day.

The groom and brothers also arrived in a fashionably manner, all prim and proper - and definitely ready for the gatecrash games! (They have got all the vouchers handy too - hahaha)

After all the games, Andrei would of course have to get past Vanessa's mum and get her approval before he could successfully fetch the bride. He made his promises to Vanessa's mum that he will care for Vanessa at all times, in all ways, and gave mummy a big hug before proceeding to get his bride. It was so heartwarming to see that there is so much respect and love between the two families.

We went to Limau Dog Park for a short photo-taking (and also video-taking) session with the bride & groom, and also the rest of the wedding entourage.

It was time for the wedding ceremony to begin. Guest promptly started to arrive at 4:30, and caterers were busy setting up the decoration and buffet for the night. We were awed by the floral decorations along the aisle in the sanctuary - wonderfully decorated by Lindt of 85 Flowers. (It looked really different from what we seen during the rehearsal - that's the magic flowers can do:) )

The ceremony started with the lighting of unity candles by the mothers of Andrei and Vanessa. Before the exchange of vows, Elder Andrew Goh was invited to give the exhortation, which was brilliant, and provided a lot of insights for the couple. It was then proceeded with the Holy Communion, the solemnisation ceremony and ending off with a speech by Vanessa's father, giving the couple his blessings.

The night ended with a lot of photo-taking of the newly-weds with the guests. It was definitely heartwarming and meaningful, to see people you've known from different stages of your life coming together to give you their blessings.

May happiness fill their hearts each day through their lives!
